Welcome to the Seekt Quick Guide series. In this episode, we are looking at what happens after a scavenger hunt ends and how to make the most of it.
When the timer runs out or you end the game manually, the final leaderboard is locked in. Scores are frozen and no new submissions are accepted. Both the host and all players can see the final results immediately.
The first thing most groups want to do is see the photos. The slideshow feature displays all submitted photos and videos in sequence on a full-screen view. If you connect to a TV or projector via AirPlay, the whole group can watch together. This is often the highlight of the event — everyone laughing at creative submissions, debating close calls, and celebrating the winners.
You can also select individual photos and videos and share them directly from the app. Send them to a group chat, save them to your camera roll, or share them however you like.
The leaderboard shows final rankings with each team's score, items completed, and completion time. If teams are tied on points, the one that finished faster ranks higher. You can tap any team to see the member names.
All game data — scores, submissions, photos, videos — stays available for forty-eight hours after the game was created. This gives everyone time to revisit the results, download their favourite photos, and relive the experience. After forty-eight hours, the data is automatically cleaned up.
If you want to run the same hunt again with a different group, you do not need to rebuild anything. Go back to your hunt and tap "Create Game" to start a new one. Each game is a separate instance with its own teams, scores, and submissions, but the hunt — your items, clues, and settings — stays exactly as you left it.
You can also duplicate an entire hunt if you want to create a variation. Change a few items, adjust the points, and you have a new hunt ready to go.
